  • Gulet Baba Veli 7: For UK customers, as there are economical flights from numerous UK airports, Monday is the usual day to start and end a cruise
  • Gulet Baba Veli 8: In 2012 this boat will be sailing out of Finike or Fethiye (depending on specific departure dates) and cruises will start and end on Thursdays
  • Dalaman and Antalya are the airports closest to our cruising area. Free transfers to and from these two airports are included in the cost of your holiday
  • To maximise the cruising time and locations visited, one week cruises will start in Finike (1.5 hrs from Antalya, 3.5 hrs from Dalaman) or Fethiye (50 mins from Dalaman, 2.5 hrs from Antalya).

Cruise 1: "Jewels of Lykia"

From Antalya or Dalaman Airport, your private transfer will take you to the modern marina in the charming harbour town of Finike, where your cruise begins.  Highlights of your tour will include:


 

  • The famous "Sunken City" of Kekova
  • The magnificent hilltop town and castle of Kalekoy/Simena
  • Optional excursion to the historic ruins and amphitheatre at Myra as well as the ancient church of Saint Nicholas at Demre
  • Experience the authentic Turkish atmosphere of the beautiful harbour town of Kas, with its wonderful wooden balconies, vibrant restaurants and bars.
  • The hidden "jewel in the crown"...as a unique bonus our boat will give you the wonderful opportunity to spend time on the enchanting GREEK ISLAND of MEIS aka KASTELLORIZO
  • Optional excursion to the magnificent Saklikent gorge.This includes visits to the splendid Kaputas beach near Kalkan and to the village of Kadikoy where colourful, hand-woven Turkish carpets are made

 

Cruise 2: "Gems of Karya"

From Antalya or Dalaman Airport, your private transfer will take you to the harbour in the fascinating seaside town of Fethiye, where your cruise begins. Highlights of your tour will include:

  • Shop for bargains in the friendly, colourful markets of Fethiye or maybe indulge in a traditional Turkish Bath in the 400 year old Hammam
  • Relax and play in the waters around the 12 Islands of the Gulf of Gocek : Blue waters and "beauty spots" with the grandeur of mountains beside the sea
  • Secluded turquoise bays surrounded by pine trees at A-Liman
  • Optional delta/river boat trip to the town of Dalyan, including amphitheatre and historic ruins of Kaunos...and the "10 years younger?"experience of a traditional Turkish Mudbath?
  • See the magnificent "Blue Lagoon" and famous beach at Olu Deniz
  • Walk up through the island ruins of a pre-christian church to experience a wonderful sunset looking down over the beautiful inlet of Gemiler
  • Optional excursion to the magnificent Saklikent gorge. This includes a visit to the village of Kadikoy to see where colourful, hand-woven Turkish carpets are made.
