Cruising Turkey's Turquoise Coast with a Blue Cruise.

What is a blue cruise (mavi yolculuk)?

!

In the late 1950's a group of writers, painters and naturalists discovered the rich natural beauty and archaeology of the Gulf of Gokova, the coastal area to the south of Bodrum. Yacht cruises were enjoyed aboard the local, shallow-keeled coastal trading boats known as Gulets.

In the following years, larger, engine powered Gulets explored further and extended along the spectacular Mediterranean coast from Bodrum in the west to Antalya in the east. This type of yacht cruise is called, in Turkish, mavi yolculuk which translates as Blue Voyage or blue cruise.

Turkish people are well-known for their hospitality and the people you will meet are warm, generous and kind-natured. They will greet you as honoured guests, treat you as special friends and welcome you into their family. These holidays are now enjoyed by people from all over the world...but still preserve their tranquil, uncommercialised flavour.
